GE Patient Data Module

When connected to Solar® monitor at the bedside, the patient Data Module collects all acquired patient data, including information from additional monitoring modules or equipment. Consistent with the GE tradition of backwards compatibility, the patient Data Module is compatible with bedside monitors, including the Solar 8000i and Solar 8000M. When the patient is ready for transport, the patient Data Module—carrying the patient’s complete vital signs record—quickly snaps into the Transport Pro monitoring device, and goes with the patient intra-hospital. When reconnected to the network in the new location, the patient Data Module can automatically refresh the patient’s record with the data collected prior to and during transport, helping to eliminate critical data gaps.

Together, these devices transform the solar bedside monitor into a portable monitoring solution that gives providers the uninterrupted clinical intelligence they need to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care at every point during the patient’s stay.
