Description
ResMed Stellar 150Â Non-Invasive Ventilation
Â
Easy navigation
The intuitive interface and menus, a user-friendly push dial and a coloured LCD for complete therapy overview with live monitoring—all provide quick and simple navigation.
Â
Â
Easy connections
An oxygen inlet option at the rear of the device makes it easy to connect to the oxygen source for accurate monitoring. The Easy-connect FiO2Â kit enables live oxygen monitoring on the device LCD. The integrated pulse oximetry offers hassle-free SpO2monitoring.
Â
Â
Easy maintenance
The replaceable air path makes it quick and easy to clean and service Stellar ventilators, minimising any device down-time. The sealed silicone filter, which protects the ventilator from dust and contamination, also contributes to easy maintenance.
Â
Â
Easy patient monitoring
Stellar 150 ventilators combine real-time therapy monitoring with summary and detailed data on all essential parameters.
Real-time onscreen monitoring facilitates easy patient assessment at-a-glance. Used with conjunction with ResMed’s EasyCare Tx software and Tx Link, Stellar 150 enables real-time monitoring and remote titration.
Comprehensive summary and detailed data is available in high and standard resolution. The USB provides convenient data storage, uploads, downloads and easy transfer of therapy settings.
Patient Reminders assist patients and carers by reminding them when to carry out essential tasks, such as replacing filters, masks, etc.
Â
Â
iVAPS: intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support
ResMed’s new ventilation mode, iVAPS, uniquely targets alveolar ventilation (i.e. minute ventilation minus dead space) rather than tidal volume or minute ventilation alone.
A mode in itself, rather than a support function, iVAPS is designed to maintain a target alveolar ventilation by automatically adjusting pressure support.
Combining the comfort and synchrony of pressure support with the assurance of a target volume, iVAPS technology maintains appropriate alveolar ventilation even as the patient’s respiratory needs change, such as during different stages of sleep.
Â
Â
Versatile and customisable for a wide range of patients
Suitable for patients with progressive or changing conditions, Stellar 150 is designed to meet the ventilation needs of a wide range of patient groups, including those with OHS (Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome), restrictive lung diseases (e.g. Neuromuscular Disease) and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease).
Stellar 150 is suited to those who need higher levels of pressure and oxygen, and those with mobility needs.
The ventilator offers the flexibility of two customisable programs that the clinician can preset, enabling the patient to select the right therapy at the right time.
Â
Â
Light and compact
Excellent design means that Stellar 150 packs a comprehensive range of features, functions and technologies into an easy-to-carry device that weighs just 2.1 kg.
ResMed’s exclusive SlimLine™ tubes enhance the lightness and compactness of the system.
Â
Â
Internal and external battery
Providing continuous therapy for patients on the move, Stellar 150 has an internal battery with 2 hours* capacity, and connects to the optional external battery—ResMed Power Station II (RPS II) offering 8 hours** capacity. An additional RPS II can be connected simultaneously to the ventilator, which automatically switches to the second battery when required, doubling the hours that the ventilator can run on battery.
* 2 hours capacity at EPAP 5 cm H2O, IPAP 15 cm H2O, 20 bpm
** 8 hours capacity per battery at EPAP 5 cm H2O, IPAP 15 cm H2O, 20 bpm
Â
Â
Mobility bag
This special accessory protects the ventilator during transportation and allows carers to view the screen even when the device is in the bag.
